phantomshado Posted May 9, 2004 Report Posted May 9, 2004 Do cavis and sunfires have the 282? If so, are the mounts the same as the mounts that would be found in a W with a 282? Thanks. Quote
Baddflash Posted May 11, 2004 Report Posted May 11, 2004 W-bodys are pretty wide in the engine bay and the tranny mounts underneath not from above like J & L -body's. I know that the Beretta's use a different slave cyl/clutch TO fork setup but you may be able to adapt . The intermediate shaft braket will work for sure. I'm pretty sure that early 90's cavi use the same trans except for the mount but you can bolt on a w-body mount so it don't matter. My flywheel is from a '92 cavi that had the 3.1L and a thrashed clutch and because of it a totaled 282. Quote
