90TGP Posted May 9, 2004 Report Posted May 9, 2004 Well it's a new year and the show season is about to start. I'm looking for some interior and exterior dress-up ideas. Here's what I have right now on my 1990 TGP. Exterior RS Limited 17x7 Concept Pro's in gunmetal with Nitto 555 Extreme tires. Chrome power antenna. Under the hood FFP billet upper motor mounts. Strut tower brace. K&N filter on turbo. Polished Blitz Super Sound BOV. APC red oil cap. APC red valve cover breather. Interior Red aluminum race pedals with foot rest. Red aluminum shift knob. Turbo warning sticker on passanger visor. (click on link in sig to see pic) 3-guage pillar pod. Summer Plans Swap out the tan interior for a new black/grey interior. Two racing seats for the front. Powder coat fender braces/strut tower braces polished silver. Powder coat front valve cover red and polished silver. Paint calipers red. Window tint. Rear spoiler. Anyone have any good dress-up ideas? Quote
EurosportZ34 Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 Hrmmm....you seem to have done alot. You could paint your motor mount/strut tower braces red, paint the 3.1 TURBO on the manilfold red. I'm not sure if you have red spark plug wires from your pic, but you could get some of those, and also use red wire covers for some other stuff to go along with the red accents. You could also polish your manifold and valve covers. Quote
no1kicker Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 Yeah a polished plenum and painted "turbo" would look nice. Quote
Z34door Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 pull out the guage cluster and scrape the orange shit up and put colored blubs in and make it light up a different color Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 The HARD plastic pieces such as the plate for the pwr windows/mirror buttons, and vents, etc, can be painted and look great.. and paint is durable on those areas. Quote
no1kicker Posted May 10, 2004 Report Posted May 10, 2004 Has anyone done that? I tried on a spare radio once and I scraped up some of the black with it. Maybe use thinner? Quote
