Dannymik Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 I just got back from a local u pull it and found a rear bumper cover with the dual outlets on a 92-94 Cutlass coupe. My question is how tough of a job is it to get it off and what tools am I going to need? It doesn't look that bad...worst part is lying down on the muddy ground. The bumper is a medium blue and mine is that bright aqua so it looks like I'll need to get it painted. Then I'll have to get the new exhaust put on which is a huge dilema here on the board(magnaflow vs. flowmaster on my 3100 SFI). :? Quote
patgizz Posted May 8, 2004 Report Posted May 8, 2004 10mm deep well socket, long extension, ratchet, maybe a 10mm wrench, screwdriver or prybar to pop out plastic clips. if it has wheelwell trim you need a phillips screwdriver #2, preferably stubby if the wheels are still on. plastic clips hold it to the metal inner. 3 10mm bolts on each side hold it up to the bottom side of the 1/4 panel. need to take out tailliights and get the trunk open Quote
Dannymik Posted May 8, 2004 Author Report Posted May 8, 2004 Thanks patgizz....the trunk is all ready opened and one of the taillights is off. I can get the bumper for 26.95 so thats not too bad. I wish I had some experience painting. Quote
Dannymik Posted May 8, 2004 Author Report Posted May 8, 2004 just use that bumper on your car thats my plan. I just need to price some mufflers and make my decision. Quote
Z34door Posted May 9, 2004 Report Posted May 9, 2004 cant forget the 7mm socket to take the rear inner wheel wells out. Quote
