AWeb80
http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/Susptabl.jsp?scat=Shocks&category=BootMount&scat=BootMount&autoMake=Pontiac&autoModel=Grand+Prix+SE+Coupe&autoModClar=&autoYear=1994&brand=all&perfcat=premium&perfcat=perf&x=62&y=11 Has anyone bouht these and put them on their car? I'm ordering my KYB struts in a few days and want to know if I should just go ahead and get these also. I don't want to get my front suspension tore apart and then figure out that I need new mounts..... ...are the boots worth getting...do they really protect the strut? Any Input is appreciated. Thanks in advance. AWeb.
per0781
Well looks like my passenger side rear strut needs replacing. The ass end somewhat fish tals on the highway going over expansion cracks and the clunking sound is attractive. The cheapest I found them for is $47.67 and 2nd cheapest is tire rack at $48.00. As for the boots, I don't think they are necessary because the FFP coilovers dont have the strut boots on the strut.
90TGP
I got KYB struts and mounts on all four and boots on the rear. I decided to do everything at once instead of having to do it twice for the mounts. I haven't had problems and would suggest them.
1stgenbird
I just ordered struts and mounting kit from Tirerack. They had the boots for sale also but when I looked at my existing rear struts, they had no boots so I didn't get them.
