Fram Air Hog

Personally I will only use AC Delco or K&N filters. Depending on price I may try the Air Hog just to see if it's comparable to K&N.

Knowing Allied Signal General (Fram's parent company), the airhog probably won't last as long as a K&N and likely filters like shit.

But, being as they are a cotton-gauze filter, they probably flow just as well and make about the same amount of power (~1.5whp).

I had a car come into the dealership today with a Fram AirHog in it............I wasn't impressed.........flat out cheap build quality.

If you want a better performing filter, get a K&N......if you don't care about performance, get a OEM filter (one that is made by AC Delco, Motor Craft, or what have you).........don't skimp out on the $3 you save by going to Wal-Mart.
