GP1138 Posted April 25, 2004 Report Share Posted April 25, 2004 Well, yesterday I managed to get my right transmission axle seal changed in a short 2.5 hours. I'm not leaking anything anymore. I thought I was leaking oil at one point, but it turns out I am not. For a 160,000+ motor in a 182k+ car, that's not bad. It's nice to know for sure you can firewall the throttle without worrying if you need to wait for the transmission to catch up. Next project: motor mounts, both torque struts and engine mount. I replaced that myself, and then the left one started leaking, but only when I was moving slowly. I definitely am glad I replaced them.
