visageiii Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 replaced map sensor, checked vaccum hoses, I intend to clean the EGR, replaced upper and lower intake gaskets, loads of fuel injector cleaner... Now for the problem, The car starts fine, and idle is good, no ses upon startup. After driving, it accelerates up to 45 real good, and if you let off the gas, and then you give it the gas again, it does a serious bug-jump/surging thing. And after a lengthy drive (15-mins or so) the ses light comes on. If you shut the car off and restart it, usually the light doesn't come back on until you drive it some more. I checked for error codes when the car is both hot and cold (Yes, I did clear the ECM) and it shoots me a error code of 32. I am hoping that cleaning the egr will fix this problem, and also the idle relearn thing, but if it doesn't what else could it be? Thanks for whatever help I can get. Quote

DaveFromColorado Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 I get code 32 all the time in my car, but it doesn't effect drivability, so I'm just ignoring it for now ... it could be sticking, or just not activating. --Dave. Quote

93CutlassSupreme Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 AC Delco wires are warrantied for life, they're stock gm replacement parts, and mine for a 3.1 cost $45 Quote
DaveFromColorado Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 $45 for the set of Bosch wires from Autozone, they're good wires, you'll pay WAY more if you get the stock wires from GM. --Dave. Quote
