jmacks92ste Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 I have read all the threads about the FFP poly engine mounts, and have heard they are good. People always say "if your stock one is getting beat up, then definately get the FFP mount". My question is simple, will it make much of a difference if I get the FFP mount as compared to the brand new stock one i have right now? Im looking to make one or two last modifications and this is on the possibilities list. Thanks in advance... Quote
mihela816 Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 A bit snappier shifts, and better throttle response. And they look nice and last a lot longer than stock mounts. Quote
Waterboy Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 I thought that poly mounts were good for some suspension parts but I'm not sure for engine mounts. The poly pass thru a lot more vibration that the stock mounts. In a hard street or racing situation, the added vibration is just a neccessary evil. For comfort, go with the stock. IMO Quote
mihela816 Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 They are rough when they are new but are pretty quiet after they get broken in. Quote
EurosportZ34 Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 I would say go for the FFP mount. It just has better everything and it designed specially for our motors! Quote
