Goph Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 I might be selling my GP and getting a 97+ GTP if i have another problem with this car. Quote

Put them in savings bonds (that I can take out when I need to ) it's all in the car fund. I could easily pay for the majority of a 99ish GTP, but I still need a job. Quote
GP1138 Posted April 21, 2004 Author Report Posted April 21, 2004 I decided to screw the STE Hey, I know. I had to, though. I couldn't get the space to work on it. I really wanted that car. If you can put up $350 and tow it somewhere you might be able to get it. Quote
jeremy Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 at least the '98 only has two doors..... Quote

GP1138 Posted April 21, 2004 Author Report Posted April 21, 2004 Fuck it. :cuss: My dad decided he didn't want me getting in on a loan for longer than he thinks the car is going to last. So plan on me getting a '93 Grand Prix instead... if I like it. Stay tuned. Quote
tylerz34 Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 I might be selling my GP and getting a 97+ GTP if i have another problem with this car. Don't get a 97 if u can, they have alot of "first year" problems. Somewhere i think there was a list of them. My friend has a 97 and his headlights leak, he gets frosted windows-ON THE INSIDE, had his HUD go out, and has had alot of electrical problems. Just my advice. Quote
supreme_style21 Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 I wouldn't ever get any first year cars. I'd rather pick one up thats been around for a few years, had most of the potential bugs worked out. Quote

Dannymik Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 I say go for a newer prix as well. If your having too many problems with your current one, then you might want to avoid any that have the DOHC(sorry 3.4 people). Quote
GP1138 Posted April 21, 2004 Author Report Posted April 21, 2004 It's a '93 Grand Prix SE, with the 3.1. Dual exhaust, it sounds sexy. I like it, quite a bit. It's definitely nice, clean, the engine looks pristine. Friday we're going to look at it some more. It's a pretty bare SE, though. No steering wheel controls (not that it matters, it's got an Aiwa HU put in) and it's got no trunk release or gas cover release. It's got alloys, with ABS though. It'll be a little upgrade over my shitty LE. I'll keep you posted, if anyone really cares, lol. Quote

I like my car and if i don't have any major problems between now and when we start looking for a car i'm not going to sell it most likely. I like the way my car look also and because no one in my school has a car with the B4U package (i think it is B4U) Quote
