jeremy Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 hope you had insurance that listed the stereo seperately... Quote
lolumz34 Posted April 20, 2004 Author Report Posted April 20, 2004 I didn't need to list the stereo seperate....they said it was covered under the car as long as it was not over $1500....and the Stereo alone was not $1500 Quote

gimp19 Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 All I needed was a police report and proof of purchase, when mine got stolen. Quote
lolumz34 Posted April 20, 2004 Author Report Posted April 20, 2004 yeah...I have most of the recipts, all of the picture, and the police incident number.. that's all covered... no issue there. Quote
stockgp Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 someone walked into my gf's house while she and her grandma wre sleeping and took both their keys. cops founf my gf's car 150 feet down the road with the lights on and her system missing. system consisted of a panasonic 903 head unit, memphis 4x6 set, phoenix gold 200.2 amp, phoenix gold octane r series 12 (2) and box, plus around 50 cd's. altogether she's out somewhere around 1100 bucks. the insurance co. said they would cover it, given receipts and what not. yesterday she gets a check, after2-3 months of waiting for $600!?!?! her agent said there is nothing they can do about it either. slick Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 I've had my car broken into twice. Neither time i turned it in to the insurance company because of the fact that our insurance is already high risk. I just had to suffer a huge loss (first time~$1000, second time~$200). Quote
Bruticus Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 Thats why i never would put a sound system in any car i own i will stay stock. Its loud enuff for me and i dont need the attention with a sound system. Quote

cutlsp Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 My Cutlass is all stock. My other cars have head units and speakers...and a mean dog inside the fence with them now!!! the best security would be to put a mean dog inside each of those cars Quote
