I'm thinking a blown fuse but I don't know where or what one it would be? If there is a fuse that controls the lights and PDL's where is it and if not what do you guys think it might be? Thanks in advance!

When I had my cigarette lighter hooked up and tried to use it the damn thing would always short out and blow the fuse which also controlled my power seats and some other stuff. I forget exactly what its called. You really should go to Candian Tire and get one of those fuse kits that have a variety of fuses and a fuse checker you just push it against the contacts on the back of the fuse and a little green light lights up if the fuse it good. Its very handy tool to have. Other than that, start pullin' fuses and checking them visually.

I "second" the Courtesy (or CTSY) fuse.

That's the fuse I pull when I want my hood. dorr or trunk open a long time. It takes out the power locks also.

Check your Courtesy (or CTSY) fuse.

I agree. While working on the body of my car I pulled the CTSY fuse so I didn't kill my battery, and my locks stopped working too. My trunk popper also don't work, but I'm not sure if that's because of the fuse or not.

mine did that a while ago. fuse just blew. I put 4 or 5 ones in and it blew after a few minutes. then i put the 5th one in and it worked for a couple months. now its blown again, dont know what it is.

Yah I went looking for the fuse today and surely enough it was blown. I'll go get one tomorrow and i'm sure that's the reason why they don't work. Thanks guys and gals for the help!

check under the hood on the passenger side. for the fuse for your backup lights....... my guess is that those dont work either

Those of you that keep blowing the CTSY fuse-

Check your cigarette lighter for a dime or nickel. Never fails; I don't smoke in my car, and keep lose change in the ashtray. Between swapping out the the fuzbuster, cell phone, hand vac, and, umm I think that's it, a coin has been known to fall in and short out the circuit, blowing the fuse.

PIA to track down too, ask me how long THAT one took :x
