93CutlassSupreme Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 a performance cam won't have a smooth idle, a smooth idling cam won't make power you can't have it both ways what does it do at 3500? Quote
Robby1870 Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 All those numbers mean the following: intake lift @ valve: .420" exhaust lift @ valve: .443" (these are calculated with a 1.5 rocker ratio) Intake duration @ .050": 204 degrees Exhaust duration @ .050": 214 degrees Advertised intake duration: 278 degrees Advertised exhaust duration: 288 degrees Intake lift at cam lobe: .280" Exhaust lift at cam lobe: .295" Quote
Guest Gp crazy Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 AT 3500 IN 5 GEAR WHICH IS 70 MPH OR BETTER . IT ACT'S LIKE A BAD COIL OR ICM UNSURE ? I HEARD OF FUEL CUT OFF IS THIS TRUE? AM HITTING IT OR EVEN CLOSE TO IT ? GOING TO REPLCE FUEL FILTER AND GO FROM THERE, PSI IS AROUND 38-42. JUST GOING TO ONE THING AT A TIME. Quote
