imperialfleet Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 Live in the midwest. Looking for some shocks to replce the OEM crap on my 98 Monte. Suggestions? Brands? Pricing? FYI, I don't want any fancy adjustable crap. I've been thinkin either KYB or Gabriel premiums. Input? Quote
MARK 91 Z34 Posted November 28, 2002 Report Posted November 28, 2002 best bang for the buck and best quality out there besides Koni would be KYB GR2 struts...ill post the part #'s later , but the fronts are around 40$ each and rears i think are like 60$ each... awesome struts , anyone would agree with me on here too -Mark Quote
RedZMonte Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 KYB GR2's are definatly the way to go. Monroe sensatrack are the next recomendation i have. RedZ Quote
GPRACER Posted November 30, 2002 Report Posted November 30, 2002 I used monroe in front and ac delco strut/mount combo in the rear. 60$ canadian for the front and 100 for the rear strut and mount as an assembly from the dealer. The delco rears are way stiffer than OE Quote
