Gearhead43
Alright guys, WE all know the stock Turbo on the TGP''s is a Garret T-25 right? Well, Here I am poking around the engine bay of the newly aquired TGP and LO-Behold!!!! I read the numbers imprinted on the intake side of the turbo housing and WHAT DO I SEE??? M-24 What the hell is an M-24? if its a T-25... It should say T-25 right?
Guest TurboSedan
i've heard that actually refers to the nickel content of the housing, but i don't know for sure. both of my TGP turbos have M24 cast into the compressor housing. Jeff M
M24, just a casting number, and the internals can be setup to match the compressor wheel needed in each application, to a point. Very Busy Jeff M
