god910
Well, I went by the d-ship I used to work at and talked to the body shop manager. We went over the entire car top to bottom and he saw every dent and ding that would have to be worked, all the parts that were rusted (above door moldings, hood chips etc.) and would have to be put back to bare. And quoted me a price of ~$1500 I thought that was a stellar deal coming from a dealership, but figured I would ask you guys. Oh, BTW, that includes cleaning the jambs and touching up inside there. LukeZ34
Does that include clearcoat? Is it the original black color (black w/ the gold flecks)? If so, that's a hell of a deal!
Guest Anonymous
That's a very good price.
digitaloutsider
Ditto, that's an awesome price. The paint place here wants that $$$, if I do all the prep work..
god910
Yeah, that's clear included w/ them doing everything, I just drive over. And yup, they are a PPG certified shop and they mix their own paint. Damnit, why do these people have to give me offers like this when I HAVE money, but want to pay bills with it? My luck the manager would get fired or something and I would loose this hella deal.
