Guest Anonymous Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 No, I'm not getting rid of the GP. It's still getting the turbo/5-speed swap. Here's what we're looking at. 1992 Euro 3.1, 123,xxx miles, $2235.00 Maroon with grey interior Runs good, shifts perfect, interior in very good shape, windshield cracked on passenger side. http://www.strike9.com/file.ashx?path=%5credturbo90%5cfullsize%5cPicture+432.jpg 1993 CS 3100, 124,xxx miles, $2725.00 Red with grey interior Runs good, shifts good, interior very good, light hit on front end, no body damage, needs paint, front lip of hood needs fixed and painted. http://www.strike9.com/file.ashx?path=%5credturbo90%5cfullsize%5cPicture+428.jpg 1994 Regal Custom, 3100, 123,xxx miles, $2323.00 Seafoam green with grey interior Runs good, shifts good, Interior and exterior nice, chrome wheels, alarm, remote starter. http://www.strike9.com/file.ashx?path=%5credturbo90%5cfullsize%5cPicture+433.jpg Those 3 are all at the same lot. This last one is probably the one but as usual I'd like everyones opinion. 1993 Regal GS, 3800, 113,xxx miles, wants $2500.00, I offered $1700 and he accepted. Black with grey leather interior Runs very good, shifts perfect, all the toys work, paint is excellent. This used to belong to friend of my g/f. I know quite a bit about the car. It was very well taken care of, you could say babied. He lost his job and the bank took it. Just had new brakes, struts and tires not long ago. It was in an accident last summer. He sideswiped the guard rails. Damage wasn't bad. He took it to a Buick dealer and they put all new trim and paint on the whole passenger side. No evidence of an accident at all. The only thing it needs is a grill. Two of the vertical bars have a pice about an inch long broke out. But since it's black you can't even see it unless you're right up too it. http://www.strike9.com/file.ashx?path=%5credturbo90%5cfullsize%5cPicture+443.jpg Quote
TeeJay3800 Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 I voted for the Regal GS. The fact that it was very well taken care of, is a top-line model, and he already accepted your offer makes it sound like the best deal to me. As for the CS, I thought the 3100 didn't come out until '94? Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 As for the CS, I thought the 3100 didn't come out until '94? Carfax says '93 and it's a vin "m" which is the 3100. Even Shawn's site says the 3100 came out in '94. I don't know what the deal is. Maybe the '93s got it late in production. Quote

godofthunder Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 yes, 93s could get the M engine. Theres a guy on here with a rare blue CS that has it. After talking to him, it sounds that the ones that did, were some of the very last built. jon Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 That red Cutlass is damn sexy, but as for the other things the Regal looks like a nicer car (leather ) and you know the history about it. Plus if hes willing to give you a deal on it then thats good. Oh, AND its got the 3800!! Quote
DiscoStudd Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 The Grand Sport all the way. Sounds like one hell of a deal. Quote
DaveFromColorado Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 .. I'd personally love to own that GS, and at that price you can't beat the deal. --Dave Quote
92gransport Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 I say get the Regal Gran Sport (BTW, a very sharp looking car 8) 8) ), you know the car and that's a VERY good deal on it! Besides, doesn't seem to be as many of them around as other W's, you know. That's one of the reasons I bought mine. Quote
TeeJay3800 Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 Can I change my vote? I didn't look at the pictures at first so I didn't see how nice the Cutlass is. If it drives as well as it looks and the price is right, I say go with the CS! Quote

Brian P Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 Fuck you royally, ROYALLY in the Corn hole, redturbo. I find 1 '90 Regal GS on Long Island and he wants $2000...no others for sale, unless I want a POS "Limited" and every Regal is waaaay overpriced (saw $4k prices on an average). Then I find 1 '95 Cutlass Supreme coupe, no others on LI. No Grand Prix's, and I didn't look for Luminas. You go to 1 fucken dealership and find like the whole friggin GM-10 lineup. SUCK IT! Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 What a bastard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW, those 3 weren't the only w-bodies he had there... Quote
Brian P Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 Damn you no wonder there's so many w-bodies in PA junkyards  Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 I agree with Brian. I spend time before looking on autotrader(.ca) for GS couples, found nothing. Cutlass coupes with the 3100.. HARDER to find than the 3.4 coupes! I dunno I guess it was just my luck Hopefully I'll have good luck finding a GTP. Quote
99RegalGS Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 I got an e-mail back from Buick the other day and they only made 25,000 Regal coupes in 93. Quote

Euro Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 Regal GS here. that euro is nice, except for those nasty dents in the hood. 2door euros rock. but any regal GS rocks too! my aunt had a white 4 door GS and it was hella nice! Quote
Heza Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 the Regal GS has nice paint. looks sexy and has the 3800 too. the Cutlass has rust on the very front of the hood. rust turns me off. plus, the Cutlass would cost more than the GS and has more miles. so...Regal GS! Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 Damn you no wonder there's so many w-bodies in PA junkyards  You should see the new u-pull it yard here. Mostly w-bodies. Quote
