Dirty Rockstar Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 I just need to confirm. A 94 GP has the box that locks the doors when you pull it into gear, and unlocks them when you push it into park right? If not, correct me.. Also, WHERE exactly is it in an SE sedan, and what does it look like.. Otherwise, if anyone has one, let me know, it'll save me time.. Before you all shout, I want it because its somethin kinda cool.. And the nerd side of me is tellin me to get it.. I want it, lol.. Let me know! Quote
supreme_style21 Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 Locks when put into gear. Unlocks only when ignition is shut off. Quote
Dirty Rockstar Posted April 7, 2004 Author Report Posted April 7, 2004 Well, thats acceptable.. Ill take it! NOW.. where is it? Quote
digitaloutsider Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 You want the autolocking doors? I had to change our Montana's to unlock when it's put back in park. It got REALLY tiring to lock and unlock the doors all the time. I've finally adjusted to it though. I might put it in the LTE if it's an easy mod. Quote
supreme_style21 Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 I'm used to it in mine... nobody else that rides with me is.. always trying to open the door just as I shut it off. Then the lock misses, all the other doors open except for the one that they tried to get out. Then that leads to the big mess of pressing lock/unlock while the morons are still trying to open the door... door keeps failing to unlock still.. Then ya gotta say, hey fucker! stop, take your hand away from the handle and i'll unlock it. Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Yes, 94 has it. In a 94, it's located just under the right corner of the instrument cluster. It's a PITA to get to. Quote
