stlunatics2oo3
i am wonderin what type of interior mods are available ???????
ismellrealbad
you could paint the interior, make upgrade such as getting options for your car that were available but arent in your car from other cars in junkyards, and putting them in. you can also fix little annoying things that are wrong with it. thats what i spend most of my time doing, the interior of my car has to be 100%....if a single bulb anywhere is out ill flip, a tear or stain, its gone....any odor is DEMOLISHED. My trunk has to be spotless and look as it did the day it was made. The donot has to be mounted the politically correct way, nothing at all can be floating around, the mats have to be clean, and yes, it also must not smell. i guess you can say im a little bitch with my car
stlunatics2oo3
well i have recarpeted the car and new headliner and painted the car up with a blue/red mirage made by dupli color and did my seats up and stuff and now i am stumped i wanna do more like custom stuff iunno what but if you have done things tell me lol thanks
ismellrealbad
the only 2 things i can say i did "custom would be when i put my head unit it the fucking outer plastic that surrounds the a/c controls and original head unit was oversized. so i had to go back to my old grand prix rotting its ass off back at the gas station and get it form there. problem was it was blue and my cars interior is grey. so i had black spraypaint around and had to do that. als o switched my guage cluster from analog to digital. i also got cool chrome pedals. yes i know what everyone is going to say - that its riced out and is a waste of money. well guess what i really like they way they look, they dont look homo-ish to me and it was worth the price to me. anyone thats come into my car before has like it. Only my old GP i had blue chrome pedals and that shit lookedgood. HOLY FUCK thats reminds me.......i need a new power door lock motor and my old gp has one...im gunna go rip that shit out tomorrow!! HELL YEAAAAA

bbender85
there's always white face gauges, even if you've gotta make them yourself.
Guest
No white faced guages for this car. The Cutlasses had digital displays. Unless you want to put in the analog guages cluster that they started using in 1992-1994. the wiring for that is the same as the base digital cluster. As too putting in options that were availble but not offered with the car, that is EASY to do. My car was originally base cluster, column shifter, bench seats, and no power options. Look at it now: http://www.geocities.com/riven5415 THAT is what you can do with a little bit of MONEY, HARD WORK, and PATIENCE. Brian P
the installation of the pedals are easy, however due to the gas pedal GM gave us, we can't use the bracket given with the kit correctly. The bracket is supposed to go behind the gas pedal and one screw at each end goes into the new pedal...we have to use just the "right" side screw, then drill a small hole through the original plastic pedal and thread the left side screw into it. Thats how it won't shift or slide, so make sure you don't make the hole bigger than the screw otherwise it wont get a good hold, if at all... The Brake and clutch are no problem. stlunatics2oo3
i put it in the whatever section casue it isn't really a powertrain thing nor is it a general thing i guess it fits perfectly in the whatever cause i mainly wanted any wild and crazy ideas ppl. had to do in there cutlass

ismellrealbad
im not sure if the gas pedal is any diff on the 5spd but the pedals for my auto the gas pedal had very un-sensitive bendable metal brackets that you just bend behind the pedal in whatever direction you need. it wont slip at all. somehow they got sime kinda metal that you can bend over and over again and it wont snap

1trucavalier
My stock tan carpet is coming off the doors (glue, heat, and time) rear arm rest and rear 1/4 so I bought black carpet to take its place. Black and tan TGP interior should be awesome. I had a fully painted interior in my cavalier and the insurance company RAPED ME when i totalled it claiming no grandma would buy your car with hugger orange and white interior so they took off $450 for "" DAMAGED INTERIOR"" wtf!!!!! So no more painted interior for me, but if you want it to look shiny and not keep waisting money on armor all you can spray you plastic pieces with 2-3 coats of clear coat and it looks awesome. I did my escort 2 years ago and the plastic pieces are still shiny and easy to clean just wipe off.
