White93z34
this is about my brothers 93 z again. he wants to use his pioneer head unit with this car that came with the bose system. apparently his bose system killed the head unit as well as the stock 4*6s and 6*9s (i bet they are still good) now that he has a new head unit how do i go about setting this up so he gets sound from all 6 speakers. with or without the bose amp. silverbulletz34
I don't know how common this is but I ended up replacing everything, wires, speakers, and I took out the bose amp and replaced it with aftermarket. I think the problem had somthing to do with the ohms the bose system used not working with aftermarket equipment.
EurosportZ34
You can only use the Bose system with a Bose HU, amp, and speakers. If you want to replace one of them you have to replace it with original Bose products, aftermarkets stuff won't work. Sucks!
