Bruticus Posted March 27, 2004 Report Posted March 27, 2004 Well since im a lil up tight for money at the moment heres my question. My drivers side widow wont go down at all well it would but i would have to push it down wit my hand but now its just about gonna die. I wanna know if i can take the window motor from the rear and replace the one in the front with it ? Quote
Guest Gp crazy Posted March 27, 2004 Report Posted March 27, 2004 I DON'T THINK SO! THE WINDOWS ARE DIFFRENT ARENT THEY? ? STRAPED FOR $$$$ FIND A GOOD U PULL IT AROUND THE REGULATOR MOTOR SHOULD NOT BE TO MUCH 10 - 25 $$ OR LESS . RATHER THAN TO TAKE THE TIME TO SWAP MOTORS AND FIND OUT THEY ARE DIFFRENT!! THEN YOU WOULD HAVE 2 WINDOWS THAT DON'T WORK AT ALL !! 8) JUST A THOUGHT JEFF B Quote
GutlessSupreme Posted March 28, 2004 Report Posted March 28, 2004 I should think so. Front (bottom) vs. rear (top) the attached junked is different but the motors themselves look to be the same. Quote
Slade901 Posted March 28, 2004 Report Posted March 28, 2004 Put some new fresh lube in the track and it might have gunked up the tracks. When getting a motor regulator, don't get a used one as it you don't know how long it will last. Buy a brand new motor regulator. Use can use a larger rivets or just use bolts/nuts/lock washers/lock tite. Quote
