Mattimus Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 Hi guys, Just bought me a 92 regal custom 4 door with 80,000 miles. The car is in fantastic condition except 2 things... the power antenna doesn't work... easyily fixed though. (it's not a power antenna any more!) The more pressing issue is with my driver seat. The thing is sloshing all around. It's more like a rocking chair than a car seat. It actially rocks about 3/4" up and down as I stop or accelerate. Is this common? Any ideas as to how to fix it before I pull the seat out and have a look? The local wrecker has a split bench (also blue even) from a 2 door for 100$. I was hoping someone might be able to tell me if the bench seat from a coupe would be the same seat as the bench from sedan. Thanks, Matt Quote
Dirty Rockstar Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 Under the seat, at the front and back, there are plastic things on each corner (4 duh).. They are held on w/ small, 7 MM bolts.. Take those off, and you should see what looks like a torx bolt, but it is inside out.. Make sure they are tight. It is a # 10 "Outside torx" is what I call it.. If thats not the issue, check the seat track.. Or just get ne seats! Good luck! Quote
