god910
I used a set of Accel 8.8's. (Custom fit for a V-8) The only down side was the #5 wire was REALLY tight, but it fit and didn't touch anything it wasn't supposed to. (Pics on the WWW) I'm still searching for a better set. (Stay away from Accel super stock spiral core) Really a set of GM replacement wires is what I would suggest if you don't want something flashy. If your wires work good then fine for you but I think Accel wires are junk. I know too many people that have had them fail for me to buy them. I know too many people that have had them fail for me to buy them. Easy cheesy, I bought them because they LOOK good. I know for a fact (I have had more than one wire tested on a sillyscope) that most wires aren't as good as a GM replacement wire. The ones I'm currently using are A) Yellow (Main goal) and I had a gift cert. that was about to run out (It was the freeby they give you on your first online order, I think it's like $25) so I just bought something on impulse. I'd like to get back w/ that scope and record my findings, but at the time it didn't seem like a big deal.
tgpguy21
Taylor wires huh? isnt that a pretty well known company? I cant think of where else ive heard about them. does anyone know about this brand of wires?
Guest Anonymous
I haven't ever heard anything bad about Taylor. I know people that have used them and they worked well for them. When I rebuild the turbo motor it going to have iridiums and either Taylor or Magnecor wires depending on what I can afford.
