wd40-2 Posted March 4, 2004 Report Posted March 4, 2004 1996 Olds Cutlass Supreme cruise control problem. This is a factory electric operated, not vacume, cruise control unit. How do you get the tape to move out about ONE INCH from the cruise control module. I believe that if I put power to one of the module terminals the motor will turn. Which terminal? I don't want to burn out the board. There is not enough adjustment in the cable housing to get what I need. I just replaced the intake manifold gaskets on a 1996 Olds Cutlass Supreme. When I removed the cruise control cable from the throttle body the cable pulled into the cruise control module and now is too short to connect to the cam at idle. The cam holds the throttle open at about 3000 rpm. Any suggestions? Quote
