wd40-2 Posted March 4, 2004 Report Share Posted March 4, 2004 1996 Olds Cutlass Supreme cruise control problem. This is a factory electric operated, not vacume, cruise control unit. How do you get the tape to move out about ONE INCH from the cruise control module. I believe that if I put power to one of the module terminals the motor will turn. Which terminal? I don't want to burn out the board. There is not enough adjustment in the cable housing to get what I need. I just replaced the intake manifold gaskets on a 1996 Olds Cutlass Supreme. When I removed the cruise control cable from the throttle body the cable pulled into the cruise control module and now is too short to connect to the cam at idle.
