glad your car survived! looked like that was a harsh winter. I would have freaked out at that rust sighting, but glad it buffed out.

I scraped the side of my moms van while backin out, i freaked. but it buffed right out, now theres only a slight ripple.

still wish i could store mine for the winer :(

You sure it buffed out??? Even in your next pic I swear I still see some sizable rust bubbles there!!!

Damn, I've never seen rust bubbles on a W. I thought these cars were galvanized? Even when my car got hit and it had sheetmetal exposed for 2 months, it didn't rust. Had yours been repainted in the past?

yeah i still see some rust too. yeah w's rust. mine is bubbling on the roof right by where the black stripping separates the front windshield to the paint.

also starting inside the doors

Yikes! I'm glad I'm far south enough that it isn't a problem.

The roof I can understand, that's not galvanized.

Anyway, rust bubbles must be taken care of ASAP or they will spread, and spread fast. The rust actually spreads slower when the bubble is opened and the rust left exposed to the elements than to just leave the bubble alone.

That's one nice Lumina. I'm usually not a fan of tail light covers but they go great on your car, and your wheels are absolutely great looking.

The snow basically melted in the past 3 days, thats why i tore my car out, i didn't wanna wait for the snow to be gone.

the cutty is mine, i bought it just a month before the blazer

as for the rust, those bubbles were always there, never went away, never got any bigger, they just were there. rust was never visable. i just about freaked out when i saw that brown spread through my whole fender. the rust buffed right out, the bubbles, well stayed. its a good thing you can't notice them, only if you like real close, and thanx to a speacial some-one, i have to explain why...sigh.

j/k

but yeah, its all good, its basically in the same shape i put it away in, also, i washed it and waxed it. i think its ready for spring!! :D

Nice white Z man! Those light covers are cool. You trust storing it outside in the winter? I got my Euro stored in my dad's barn outta the way of the elements. It comes out just as clean as when it went it, just a little dusty.

if i could store it inside, i would, trust me, how-ever, i don't have a barn, and in the garage resides my moms jeep, and my 72' nova, and shit, i just realized i have way to many cars at my age.

LOL I know what you mean. I used to own an '88 Ford Escort winterbeater along with my Luminas. I owned it until it was too much, and until I got smart about owning a Ford.
