a 4t60e question

Well i figure i will post this here b/c the guys at mymonte deep talking about the 4t65e.. and a3.8.. i figure you guys would be more helpful

 

Ok. just to make sure that there is a possible problem i need some opinions.

 

Im shifting from 3rd to 4th at 100-105mph 95 3.4dohc 4t60e. Is that normal? secondly if not could it be clutch pads going out? if thats true, is there a way i can fix that problem without a complete rebuild or taking the tranny out?

 

everyone at mymonte that has replayed supports the idea i should be able to to hit governer in 3rd gear! at 5800rpms?.. So! anyone wanna help me out there?

:lol: So i can make it to the hospital ontime when C-Rex throws his Speakerbox and hits me in the head and im bleading :wink:

Your car is behaving completely normally. It will short shift into fourth at about 100-105. You can hold it in gear to get it to shift higher and probably hit the limiter on third.
