slick
Just tighten them up with the sockets your using, thats what i did. Get them snug, but not too damn tight.
azxr
I couldn't find any specs on the alldata site either. I changed my filter last night and just tightened them all snug in a criss cross fashion until they were all tightened about the same. I am just going to keep an eye on it over the next week or so and then get snug them up again if needed.
slick
Thats how i did mine and thats how they recommend it in Haynes. Just tighten them up good, and watch the ground underneath your car and the fluid levels for about a week.
92turboLE
13-18 lbs according to my brother who is a GM certified Mechanic. I had to ask him this too after i got my car back from amco and ALL the bolts were finger tight at best and 4 of them were about half way backed out... - Justin

VaCutty96
If my memory serves me right 12 foot pounds. Be careful as I remember how easy it was to shear the bolts.......

mfewtrail
Now all we need is to buy plugs to weld into the pan to make fluid/filter changes not so messy.
azxr
Now all we need is to buy plugs to weld into the pan to make fluid/filter changes not so messy. That's funny because I was thinking the same thing when I changed mine the other night. As careful as I was, I still made a hell of a mess. Slade901
That's why I got a Fluid Evacuator plus. I can drain the transmission fluid through the transmission dipstick tube then I don't have a mess when removing the transmission fluid pan.
