White93z34 Posted February 27, 2004 Report Share Posted February 27, 2004 i take it you are changeing the alt. no there is no special tool i used a small prybar when i changed mine it poped right out with barely any trouble there is a decent write up on 60degreev6.com about it, however its much easier to drop the cradle to get at the aternator as well.
