Will heads up from a car with KPH read MPH in my car???

If I were to put a HUD from a Grand Prix that is not from the U.S., would it show MPH when I hook it up? I would assume it just takes the reading from the computer and displays it, so it would probably work, but I am not sure. Anyone know???

I believe I remember seeing english/metric switches for certain cars with HUD's or did I dream that shit? :shock:

i thought they had a metric/US imperial toggle button on them ?

it works thru the E/M button already in the car...well, the cars that have electronic features....All the switch does is ground a wire, which signals everything to go to metric display.

 

The same button changes my digital cluster, driver information system, HUD, and digital climate control between E&M
