STB causing problems, noises, is this bad?

Ok...

I have the GM STB. Ive notcied, this winter, it makes some odd noises actuially. Doesnt have to be a hard bump either.

If I put my left foot, in the far part of the foot area (kinda like where the parking brake would be all the way down)...and hit a bump on the RIGHT side of the car...the left side down there shakes. You really feel it too.

Does anyone else have this? Im pretty sure its the STB causing....caus its like right there at the struts. And this is where i keep my foot too.

Also...is it causing harm? I was thinking about that the other day...is this thing putting odd presure on the left side when you hit a bump on the right?

dont think its a bad strut, nothing seems wrong mechanically.

Couldnt the STB transfer energey to the other side?

well isnt that was STBs are for? transferring the energy from one side to the other, helping distribute the energy

You could have a axle going bad. Check both sides by trying to wiggle your axles up and down on each side. If they have a lot of play in them then its bad. :D

I"m with you there too, I also have the GM STB, and after I put it on,I can hear a bad rattling noise too, But I'm sure its my strut.

I'll be getting the lowerinsprings and new struts soon anyways.

Feeling it today...i noticed that actually whats shaking is the parking brake pedal. Nothing to worry bout in the least.
