i dont know how that william university one will do you any good.. it looks to be made by a student trying to profit off of one of his class projects.. it also requires a 24v powersupply along with a second 12 volt powersupply..

the turbo one actualy looks like it can do you some good.

personaly i wouldnt buy one off ebay..

um, no. The second one will do what you need with the $8 power supply as well. 58 bucks is good, with the software as well to use it. The larger PS is for 21 volt, which our chips dont operate at. 5 volt for the 29C chip you will want to use. 12 volt or 12.5 for the 27C256 chip that is stock.

The second one looks better to me. It can program 29C256.

You can replace your 27C256 with the 29C256 and then you can reprogram it anytime you want, you don't have to stick it in a UV eraser for 20-minutes first.

I've heard people whining about the Willem, but be known that it's a kit, so God only knows who put it together. I would, and did, buy a PocketProgrammer2, it's not that much more, and it's a damn good product.
