GrandPrix34 Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 After a long wait, I finally got my Vortech Fuel Management Unit. Its calibrated at 10:1 though I feel I should upgrade to 12:1. Just in case you were wondering, I plan to boost my DOHC, though its not a turbo. :-) All the pieces of the project are coming together one by one. If you have any knowledge with forced inductions, please feel free to share. Quote
Robby1870 Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 So, by programmed at 10:1, you mean, it makes the air/fuel always at 10:1?!? Or is that the lowest it will go? I thought it was one of those that let you change the amount of fuel at like every different rpm Quote
germ Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 what 10:1 means is that for every 1 psi of boost it see's it will raise the fuel psi by 10 which means it should be ok for low boost but the more boost you get you want to make sure that you are rich and not lean and thats what the 12:1 will make sure off Quote
GrandPrix34 Posted February 25, 2004 Author Report Posted February 25, 2004 I plan to buy the 12:1 recalibration kit from Vortech Quote
