Z34nc Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Hey, Ive had my 92 Z a little under a year and this is my first time posting here. Ive been looking into some rims and these are the ones Im set on http://www.superbuytires.com/wheels_by_brand.html?stage=2&brand=ATA&model=H30&id=3053&sugg_tire=245/40x18&orig_sugg=245/40x18 Ive read a lot that 18"s can be pretty risky for clearance. Of course Ill be putting low-pros on em but what size would be a safe estimate? Quote
jeremy Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Ive read a lot that 18"s can be pretty risky for clearance. ....I've never heard that.... Quote
slick Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 With 18's, go with a 235/45/18 tire. Quote
silverbulletz34 Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Those 18's should fit, I have 245/40 x18 on mine. I did have to get spacers to maintain my full turn radius though. It depends on the width of the rim Quote
Z34nc Posted February 24, 2004 Author Report Posted February 24, 2004 Good, I was planning on 245/40-18"s. Thanks! Quote
dohc v6 Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 those are the ulgiest wheels ever. they are pretty expensive. look at wheel guyz.com i am getting bsa 220. Quote
