sho94_2000 Posted February 23, 2004 Report Share Posted February 23, 2004 I am wondering if I need any special tools to do this job. My dad needs front and rear pads on his Lumina LTZ. I also am wondering what w-bodys have the exact same brake system. Autozone.com does not have any repair guides for the Lumina LTZ or Monte. BTW: Is this a hard or easy job? no1kicker Posted February 23, 2004 Report Share Posted February 23, 2004 Brake pads are not that hard to do. You need a C clamp and you'll have to look at the caliper bolts to see what they need to come off. My GP just needed a 15mm socket IIRC.
