Is it normal when travelling a flat road? You might want to check your transmission fluid level or probably the transmission needs new fluid and filter. Quote
Bake82 Posted February 22, 2004 Report Posted February 22, 2004 Do your heater controls work properly? If not you have a vacum leak somewhere. Quote
rudefyet Posted February 22, 2004 Report Posted February 22, 2004 Do your heater controls work properly? If not you have a vacum leak somewhere. Hold it...maybe thats why my heater controls don't work....my cruise controlis f'd up too any ideas what lines i should check for vacumn leaks Quote
Crimson Fury Z Posted February 23, 2004 Author Report Posted February 23, 2004 well, the lighting on the HC is out, and it is only doing heater and defrost... Quote
DOHCRagtopguy Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Check the line that runs from the vacuum servo under the hood to the vacuum ball under the battery. That's where the one on my Olds was cracked. I cut it, stuck a hose with a nail plugging it up and bingo, good to go! Good luck. Quote
Crimson Fury Z Posted February 25, 2004 Author Report Posted February 25, 2004 aah, thats the ball's purpose! reminds me of like the toilet ball that makes the water stop after a certain height Quote
92blackz34 Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 i had the exact same problem just today the mechanic yesterday forgot to hook up one vacum line that controls the heats and the cruise he hooked that back up and both work fine it was a llittle line about 1/4 in wide right behind the top of the engine.
