rudefyet Posted February 22, 2004 Report Posted February 22, 2004 does 0-60 in 9 seconds sound too fast for a old 3.1...found out from the old owner it has a rebuilt ECM had the speed governor removed as far as i can tell...me and my friend timed it about 5 times today and got anywhere from 8.9 to 9.3...and i even made sure to add in the difference of the speedo being off I knew it felt a little faster then i thought i should be but who knows...and from what i've seen this guy is one hell of a mechanic...it's obvious he didn't own a body shop though...lol Quote
sonyman87 Posted February 22, 2004 Report Posted February 22, 2004 sounds uhh.. slow or normal for a 3.1 3.4 0-60mph is 7seconds so 8.5 would be my guess on a 3.1 Quote
rudefyet Posted February 22, 2004 Author Report Posted February 22, 2004 sounds uhh.. slow or normal for a 3.13.4 0-60mph is 7seconds so 8.5 would be my guess on a 3.1 well damn if that's the case my speedo is right...thats awesome...i guess everyone else does drive 70mph around here...lol so it's just got no speed governor then...nothing special...shucks Quote
TeeJay3800 Posted February 22, 2004 Report Posted February 22, 2004 3.4 0-60mph is 7seconds so 8.5 would be my guess on a 3.1 Stock 0-60 for a Lumina Z34 5-speed is 7.5. Stock for a Monte Carlo Z34 3.4/auto is 7.8. Quote
