Euro Posted February 21, 2004 Report Posted February 21, 2004 Well, a few weeks ago my car was doing this same thing. It was spuddering and not as much power, so i got the 02 sensor, cat, and throttle body replaced. seemed to work well then...but now its doing it again! Quote
Slade901 Posted February 22, 2004 Report Posted February 22, 2004 When was the last time the spark plug checked/replaced? I would check on the Ignition coil packs and Ignition Module. The heat-transfer grease between the Ignition Module and heat sink will fade or cake over time and would make the Ignition Module over heat which causes engine problem. Over time too much heat will destroy the Ignition Module. Anytime you replace or check the Ignition Module, make sure you put a heat-transfer grease between the Ignition Module and the heat sink. Note: the heat-transfer grease is not the same as the electrical grease that you use on the bulb or spark plugs or spark plug wires. Quote
