The reason I want to know is I'm getting front struts and all new strut mounts from tirerack. The front strut mounts list a normal and heavy duty suspension. Gearhead43 Posted February 20, 2004 Report Share Posted February 20, 2004 The KYB's are similar in stiffness to the FE3's.. They might be just a tad softer but they feel like they have better damping control. Anyhow, Struts one level softer with larger rollbars will give you about the same ride as an FE3 without feeling as stiff on smooth roads.
