White93z34 Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 well i have been kicking this idea around in my head for a little while. i can buy a 1993 Lumina Euro 4 door, silver, 3.1. 165k. for the $30 or so it costs for title transfers. right now it rests in a junkyard. i put it there last summer when my friend keith wanted rid of it, but he still has the title, so its perfectly legit to transfer and pull it out of the junkyard. since being in the junkyard it lost, pass tail light, heater controls, dash pad, vents, corner marker, one speaker, radio. it was junked cause of a bad exhaust system, and the tranny was supposedly sliping, or shifting like crap, but i think a fluids and filter change would make a worlds differance for it. all the required parts it needs can be had for cheep off other luminas at the JY. whats your thoughts? i think this would be a great driver that would be semi worry free once everything is fixed. so, i'm thinking once its all said and done it might cost around $400 to get back on the road Quote
patgizz Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 sounds like an excellent candidate. i'm workin on getting a 93 euro out of someone's backyard, its been there for a year and half and hoping i can get a similar deal(but here all you need is to get the title notarized for a dollar) Quote
