maddux31
My TGP has the coil layout on the emissions sticker in the front of the car. The layout on the sticker is different fron the layout in the '89 n.a. service manual. The service manual has the first coil coming from the left as #4, #1; the sticker has the first coil coming from the left as #1, #4 in these respective orders. I don't see the coil layout in my STE supplement. My # 1 cylinder looked like it was running rich (darker valves) compared to the others when I had the heads off this week, would the plug wire and coil layout cause this?? I had my wires ran in the order like the book says- but according to the sticker this is wrong. Anybody know which one is right/wrong??? TIA, Dale Malcolm Omaha, NE. SleeperRed90TGp
Everything I have seen is 1-4, although it makes no difference how it's wired as both fire at the same time. Not the reason for your darker valves. Jud
