90lum31v6euro Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 looked like it maybe it was spray paint or even better yet, oil based country white that was brushed on.... Quote
loominaz34 Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 Back on topic, If I could figure out where to mount it, could i fit a P-trap into the pipe to help prevent water from entering the engine? By P-trap i mean like the part you find under the sink. and then face another 90 degree bend forward. just thinking about random stuff. Quote
913_4se Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 how do i post pictures on here [/img] like that huh Quote

jeremy Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 house hold plumbing is very ghettocheck out my setup, and tell me what u think.. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/468545/3 [/img] for starters, this topic WAS about a COLD air intake, and yours isn't a cold air intake...... Quote
90lum31v6euro Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 close enough, the stock inlet for the origional air box is right infront of the filter and i will be coating the pipe with heat resistant paint to keep heat soak down. so in essance its a cool air intake suck it the more pipe u add to the system, the longer it takes the air to get to the engine. thus giving an easier and greater chance for the air in the pipe to heat up under the hood keep it cold, and get it in quick, the only way Quote
rudefyet Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 THIS TOPIC SUCKS!! I was just going to ask if we were done yet? If only i had the power of the el-locko...hint hint Quote
EurosportZ34 Posted March 15, 2004 Report Posted March 15, 2004 Yeah, I'd say that intake is freaking pure ghetto. Try some tubing to fit around, that might work better. Hell anything is better then that tape...hahaha. Quote
90lum31v6euro Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 ive got silicon sealant, but i have to spray the pipe down first for a base coat, then ill seal the shit and respray around the fittings Quote
