3.4L Hesitation

Okay, I had my 1993 GTP on the hoist at work for a day....changed the power steering hose. After this was done, I went to start it, and it ran for about 10 seconds, then stalled out. I eventually got a running again, and now it's hesitating big time when I give it some gas, and won't rev above 3000. The ECM stored error code 44, which is a lean condition. It was running fine when I put it in the garage, and had a full tank of fuel, so moisture shouldn't be the culprit.

Anyone have any ideas on where to start??

Well, if you've got a autotransmission, the car will not rev over 3000 RPMs due to the Transmission Neutral switch.

It's a basic rev limiter in park / neutral; the ECM cuts out fuel delivery through the injectors.

As for the lean condition, could be an issue that you bumped the vacuum lines on the MAP sensor.

A leaking MAP will cause a lean condition via the ECM.

I would double check everything and get the car out to drive; see what you can narrow it down to.
