m0sh_man Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 Im trying to figure out why my car wont start, i found out my starter isnt getting juice, im pretty sure its the starter disable switch, ive found one white switch with 4 wires on it that is hooked up to the clutch pedal, im not sure if thats the cruise switch or what, normally the starter disable switch has only 2 wires, im trying to figure out if its located somewhere else or not, and i cannot find it in my chiltons manual. matthew Quote
Justin Posted February 8, 2004 Report Posted February 8, 2004 It's mounted to the firewall, very low. Might be covered by your floor mat, it's right next to the carpeting. Large black push switch with 2 big yellow(on my car) wires. Just test both sides of that switch with a test light with the button depressed to see if you've got 12+. Quote

5speedz34 Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 Does any one know how hard it is to replace this switch? I know I always get the code (39) for it and I would like to get rid of it. Quote
Guest TurboSedan Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 when i did my conversion i didn't even bother installing the switch. i still have it, but i would rather not even have the switch in the car. joshua Quote
