n8_ Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 This is where the Muffler Shop comes in handy. Quote
robertg Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 hmm... you need to remove a muffler. you could always saw it off. hacksaw would work, but sawzall is quicker. however, sawzall leaves a good possibility of cutting your leg off. could use a bat or pipe or other blunt object to break it off. that might take a while though. might miss the muffler and bash yourself in the head, stomach, or genitals. that might hurt. hmm... what else to use? could use a torch. much quicker than saw or bat. downside is could blow your car up or cook your eyes. could just go speed bump hunting. make sure the guy behind you is someone you don't like. that way when the muffler flies off, it smacks his car. oh yeah, the standard disclaimer type stuff applies here. do not try this at home, etc. Quote
TeeJay3800 Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 Tie the muffler securely to a fixed object (tree, telephone pole, fat person) and floor it. After you hear a wrenching sound and your exhaust suddenly getting louder, the job is complete. Quote
godofthunder Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 HAh... wait till it falls off? On my ciera...i had no clue anythign was wrong. But im sitting in trafic, and I hear this really loud car...sounds kinda cool. Then, noticed it was me! Got out, looked under....it had very small ammt of rust holding it on, and the rest was laying on that rear axle thingie. jon Quote
EurosportZ34 Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 Do like I did with my Escort I used to own. Wait until it is raining outside, and it's about to fall off, then you'll hit as many bumps as you can until it half falls off. Then after a little while down the road it will just fall right off. Really simple doesn't involve too much complications. Quote
regalized Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 stick a potato or an onion in in and start the car and blow the bi**h off hehehe Quote
