m0sh_man Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 im getting the motor replaced in my 91GTP, it has 100+k miles on it, and the clutch itself feels great, but im wondering if its wise to go ahead and replace it? it may already be new, as the previous owner has changed the motor in it before with a junkyard motor also, so im not real sure on the milage, is there any performance clutches for this car? will a 282 clutch not work? just trying to figure out what is the differences. does anyone have any idea what the size of the clutch for this motor is? i think the 282 uses a 1" by 9 1/8th clutch or somewhere around that size i think 23 spline. matthew Quote
