3.5 Intrigue Engine Question

Has anyone on here got to get a good look at the block? It will be a while before we start getting them at our garage since most of them are going to be under factory warrenty. Ive not had a chance yet to read up on all their specs yet other then their bore, stroke,compression and HP raiting. I was wondering if the 3.5 was a new block or just another updated 2.8 to a 3400 block type deal. Thanks for any input guys. :D

The 3.5 DOHC is baced off the Northstar family. It's a 90* V6.
