windshield wiper chaos!

okay i have a problem with my windshield wipers they like to stay on even when the switch is in the off postion.

 

i replaced the switch with a band new one today still no luck

 

 

so my question is: is there a relay or fuse that is blown ?? or is the motor messed up?

 

 

 

i checked the fuse that is under the glove box its not blown

ps. if the motor is blown how do i fix it ?

 

also is there a way to put the regular wipers on like the side to side ones ?

Jeremy, are the wipers on ALL the time now? If so, you've got a short to ground on the ground side of the load component before the grounding switch..therefore, you can't turn the wipers off.

 

 

 

EDIT: had to rethink that for a sec

no the wipers are not on all the time

 

if i mess with them for 2 minutes or so it will shut off but its annoying
