GrandPrix34
how in the hell....does something that make only contact with water....get chipped frmo the corner??? Im guessing the sensor is no good now huh? I was reading a Tech To Tech article and it mentions that the coolant temp sensor is the #1 authority on fuel delivery and on when the engine goes into open and closed loop modes. Hopefully this is what is plaguing me now... Again... HOW IN THE HELL DOES SOMETHING THAT ONLY MAKES CONTACT WITH WATER GET CHIPPED?????? GRANDFURY
Maybe whoever put it in dropped it or bumped it on something, or maybe you got meatl flying around in there. When I changed my coolant temp sensor the car ran better and stopped stalling all the time and my old one the fool who did it had the two wires taped together and they were both bare wire WTF the guy is an idiot. But as far as the chip on the senor thats not right. Hopefully this fix's your prob. 8)
