Murt TTA/TGP
I took my powermaster III system out yesterday to send back to prior to be rebuilt, but taking out the rod, the grommet ended up tearing. Does GM sell the grommet, anybody know the part number??? Thanks to Chris A. for the great step by step instructions! Thanks, Murt TTA/TGP

Murt TTA/TGP
is it gonna leak bad without a new grommet? has anybody used anything else besides the stock grommet?? Thanks, Murt
Chris A
I was gonna mention that in the last post but didn't for some reason. It won't leak at all. Its very difficult for any water to get in there, or fumes or anything else for that matter. The way the powermaster fits in the bracket just about seals itself. I've never had a problem. Guest Anonymous
When I did mine last weekend I used Chris's new trick. I yanked up on the brake pedal and the rod popped out of the PM III. Put the new unit in and pressed on the brake pedal and the rod popped right back in.
