threefour Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 ok i blew my transmission in my 93' lumina z34. i replaced it with another 4t60e with lower mileage. i didnt want to deal with it so i had a mechanic install it. now everyhting is cool and the shifts are real tight and quick. however there are a few problems... there is no whine from the engine around 2-3k rpm. and the biggest problem.... when i go to floor it or around 4k rpm the engine hesitates almost like a rev limiter and it wont acelerate... i dont now what the hell this is whether its a tv cable adjustment or someone told me there is a switch under the shift console that if you replace that it should help because the car still thinks its in park i think that switch is called a pnp switch. PLEASE HELP ME I FEEL LIKE I HAVE NO BALLS NOW!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Intimidatorz34 Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 this is just pure speculation, but maybe the vss connection to the ecm, or the possibility that the tranny has a different gear ratio than the stock one. Quote
