joey b
Tonight I started my car at work. I left a few minutes later and what I think was my Timing belt was making a whining sound. I was just waiting for the thing to break on the way home. After driving for a couple of miles the whining ceased. I checked under the cover when I got home. The belt looks fine and it looked like there may have been some slight rubbing on the cover from the side away from the cylinders. The marks look very minor and I doubt it was caused from 10 minutes of that belt rubbing. I don't think it was the water pump, although it may have been. The coolant pressure (don't ask) was constant and normal the entire time. Anyone ever have a similar problem?
Daggar
My Car whines sometimes at idle. I can't figure out what is causing it. I think it may be the serpintine belt rubbing. I was going to replace it to see if that was it.
